Weekend Starts Early....

Our weekend starts today! At this moment Mike is on his way to the airport to pick up Mom....The kids and I have been eagerly anticipating her visit. She decided to come up now so she can attend Leilani's dance recital. She is super excited that grandma will be seeing her do her dances. So Mom arrives today will spend the night and then she will go visit her friend and my aunt tomorrow and return Saturday afternoon with my grandma (her mom). That is a special treat!

Tomorrow Leilani and I have to wake up bright and early to go pick up my friend Sandra and her girls Alyssa and Brittany and then go to the bus stop so we can take the bus into the city. The girls did incredibly well all year in school so we decided to treat them to a day at the American Girl Cafe. We have been planning this since March so can you imagine these girls are too anxious! We will be having lunch in the cafe and then visiting thier museum and then what day in the city is complete without a little shopping!

This weekend is chock full of things to do.....Celine's birthday party, followed by Leilani's day 1 of dance recital on Saturday....Cooking and picking up cake and flowers for Day 2 of dance recital which is where everyone will be going to, then dinner and dessert at our house afterwards...and a relaxing day at the beach on Monday with Mom, grandma and the kids. Hmm....and I have to work sleep into that weekend! Wish me luck!
