Color My World

Family Day #2 found us traveling 2 hours to Easton, PA, home of the Crayola Factory!

If you live near the tristate area, or are planning to go to PA with the kiddies, I would HIGHLY recommend it! The place is geared for children 2 and up. And the price of admission is extremely reasonable. Admission includes the Crayola Factory and a Boat Museum. Both Leilani and Christopher had fun beyond compare! At every turn there was a craft of some type for the children to make. And they give out tokens you can trade in for Model Magic clay, Crayola crayons or markers. They both came home with a baggie full of crafts they had done and the other goodies mentioned. Then of course we went to the Crayola store and picked up more modeling clay, markers (regular and color wonder), crayons, coloring books and 3D sidewalk chalk. Our grand total was a reasonable $35 in goodies to expand thier little imaginations!

Had to post this pic of Leilani! They had a room where they were playing music and the kids sillouettes were displayed in all colors on a screen. How cool is that!

Leilani and Chris can not wait to go back! I can totally see another visit in the not to distant future!

How cool!! Will have to mark that down for a future trip! The kids got a kick out of watching them make crayons on "How It's Made," they'd go berserk to actually GO there!
Thanks for the info! :-D
The picture with the "crayon" is too cute!
