Young Chef's Academy

Our Girl Scouts did extremely well on thier cookie sales this year. As thier end of year trips they decided they wanted a pool party. We then suggested a trip to the Young Chef's Academy as a bonus and they happily agreed. We decided to do a 2 for 1 with this trip. They would work on a badge while having fun cooking as well. The first few minutes were a bit boring for them since part of the badge work consisted of them learning about kitchen safety, and food bourne bacterias that can develop when we do not handle foods properly. But once they got cooking, they were thrilled and enjoyed the whole process.
