Happy Labor Day!

I can't believe it! Summer is actually over....unofficially that is! As much as I don't like the heat and humidity and stickiness of summer, I am really sad to see it go. It means that the cold will soon be here. The great part is that the fall is a mere couple of weeks away. My alltime favorite season!


Today we spent the day at CB Huntington's & Blackbeard's Cave. After having to wait 35 minutes for our lunch to be served (seems to be a growing problem with us this week huh! LOL) we ate our mediocre meal and made our way over to the rides. Leilani and Christopher had a blast! But the highlight of the day had to be the Go Cart rides! Christopher was in heaven! And Leilani was overjoyed for having the opportunity to actually drive a gocart for the very first time all by herself! An actual vehicle that doesn't have a track underkneath it guide it. And she didn't crash not even once! We high fived her when she finished. the look of pure exhiliration was priceless!

Tomorrow is our last day off before the start of a new school year. 3 of the four of us will be starting school this week. We are eagerly anticipating it!
